We advise and represent contractors, architects, engineers and construction craftsmen as well as contract awarders of building works in the entire private building and real property law sector.

This includes providing legal support to our clients in building conception and contract design, during the building phase, right through to the acceptance and final use or resale of the property.

We review and draft works contracts, general contractor contracts, project development contracts, utilisation contracts, sale and purchase contracts of any kind, building contracts, building contractor agreements (involving standard terms and conditions and the regulations of the VOB/B (Part B of the General Contract Provisions for the Performance of Construction Works), as well as architect and engineer contracts. This also includes the legal review of supplemental agreements, contractual penalties, and claims for damages. We support our clients in the acceptance procedure and represent them in respect of all issues that might arise in relation to performance, remuneration and liability, in particular also in connection with building defects.

Our legal support throughout the entire project phase is also aimed at preventing and resolving conflicts at an early stage. If a dispute nevertheless arises, we represent our clients in court proceedings and in arbitration as well as in the performance of independent procedures of taking evidence, for securing evidence.
